The purpose of the workshops were to:
a. To raise awareness on the magnitude and consequences of VAC and the evidence based solutions for preventing it among policy makers and civil society organizations (CSOs).
b. To generate dialogue on the INSPIRE strategies by CSOs and other implementing partners in order to identify local best practices to be adapted and policy gaps to be resolved.
c. To support the Kenya government to develop a national plan of action for implementing the INSPIRE package.
Overall, 114 child duty bearers were reached with information on INSPIRE, and its implementation within Kenya.
